We'd like to invite you to an important gathering of ShareAction's Pension Power network, where we'll be discussing how we can take action with our pension to make sure our savings have a positive impact on the world.

The main focus of the evening will be how we can build our power to:

• Address the ticking time bomb created by pension funds that are filled with BP and Shell shares
• Ensure our pension schemes are transparent and properly listen to our views
• Work with government to pass the legislation required to ensure the investment system really is a force for good

As the pension industry continues to shift the risk of investing onto individuals, whilst reducing the members' voice in pensions, our campaigns to highlight and challenge what's going on could not be more timely or important.

We're making real progress, bit by bit, but fighting back will depend on building a more powerful movement in the months ahead. Whether you're an existing member of the network or simply want to find out more about positive steps you can take with your own pension, we're very much hoping you can join us on 11th October.
