11am: Caring and Sharing - Beyond Local
David Vincent, Director of The Cochabamba Project, will talk about the need for brave new models of co-operation and investment to combat global issues of poverty, environmental degradation, resource depletion and social injustice.
11:30am: Something for the Savvy Investor
Simon Leadbetter, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Blue & Green Tomorrow, will be talking about his belief that everyone can play a part and anyone can make a difference in helping grow businesses that balance the needs of the planet, its people and prosperity.
All Day: I Couldn't Care More, Scoping Do-Goods for The ROCO
3rd Graphic Designers at Sheffield Hallam University are on a mission to promotr design for social good from within the ROCO. During the open day, they'll be carrying out fun activities to help us to (potentially) make the world a better place, one design at a time.
All Day: Making Roco, Rooftop Adventures
Masters of Architecture students at Sheffield University are set to develop designs for ROCO's temporary rooftop Café Bar. Through playful scale models, drawings and urban games they aim to showcase the potential for this space to be more than just a rooftop. Find out about their proposals and share your ideas as to what ROCO could be for you - the future users.
