Simon, who was Group CIO of Liverpool Victoria and Head of Investment at Friends Provident, will introduce the session with a discussion on the current depth and breadth of sustainable investment and finance in the UK.
Amanda will present a new white paper that looks at how the Millennials are approaching their investments differently and what this means for the asset management industry. She will also present the findings from our recently commissioned YouGov poll on attitudes of UK investors to values based investing.
Samantha, who launched the Standard Life Investments Euro Corporate Bond SRI SICAV in 2012, will cover the current challenges facing fund managers in delivering returns whilst meeting client expectations from a responsible investment perspective.
Sir Mark, ex-Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell and Anglo American, is the author of Responsible Leadership: Lessons from the Front Line of Sustainability and Ethics. As one of the world’s leading authorities on sustainability, ethics and responsibility, Sir Mark will draw on his vast experience in the front line of corporate responsibility to look at the future of responsible investment.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
Tea and coffee will be available before the presentations. There will be a drinks reception after the presentations when there will be an opportunity for networking with the presenters.
