The 14th edition of Vigeo report “Green Social and Ethical Funds in Europe”, recognised as one of the European reference studies on SRI, offers a general outlook on SRI mutual funds in Europe.

The study provides data regarding the number and size of funds but also information about SRI approaches, top performing funds, specific costs, companies within the portfolios and asset allocation.

Money has come to play an inordinately important role in today’s world, and the way in which we relate to it has far reaching repercussions that are not always self-evident. The allocation of money drives, intentionally and unintentionally, all aspects of society.  How we create, use and live with money has gone beyond its utility function to have a long-term impact on the structure and fabric of society affecting  wealth distribution and inequality as well as debt burden around the world.

This is the launch event for 'Tax for the Common Good - A study of Tax and Morality', a challenging publication from Christian Aid. The publication includes essays from:

The Community Shares Unit (CSU) will celebrate its second birthday in October and to mark the occasion we are hosting a reception at the Impact Hub, Westminster in London.

Open to all those involved and interested in community share offers, this get-together will also be a fitting occasion to launch the Community Shares Compliance Mark which is being piloted from Autumn 2014.

Where can we look to take positive actions for a brighter future?

Many respond with fear and anxiety in the face of current changes in climate and when looking ahead to the inevitable changes that are to come. We are bombarded with messages that we have to change the way we live, while acutely aware that changing to energy saving light bulbs is a drop in the ocean. A desire to help, but feeling disempowered, is leading to a dwindling hope for our future.
